Do you want to work at Manchester’s longest-running annual event?  Do you want to make a difference to Greater Manchester?

Each August Bank Holiday weekend, our volunteers help us stage one of the UK’s biggest Pride celebrations, The Manchester Pride Festival.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to gain new skills, build confidence, engage with the local community and meet new friends. Our volunteers are invaluable and ensure that The Manchester Pride Festival takes place, and a few hours of your hard work can make a huge difference.

We welcome all applications!
We want you if you’re a seasoned volunteer or if you’ve never volunteered before. We’d love to have you on board. You don’t have to identify as LGBT+ either. If you’re an ally, you’re just as important.

Our volunteers are required to complete a minimum of 4 hours over the four day weekend, which takes place 24th - 27th August. Prior to this, there will be a training and volunteer induction on Saturday 18th August.

To thank you for your time, volunteers will receive a weekend ticket for The Big Weekend, a T-shirt and you’ll also receive food and a drink during the shift you work.
