Artist mentoring programme

Thanks to Arts Council England funding, we're looking for 5 developing LGBT artists, between the ages of 18 and 25 to take part in a series of creative workshops to help develop and deliver Manchester Pride's official parade entry at this year's Manchester Pride Parade.

Successful applicants will receive a personally devised support programme, including mentoring from award-winning outdoor arts specialist Walk the Plank (WTP) who helped create our fairytale-inspired Cinderella carriage at last year's parade, along with our Parade Troopers who danced alongside the carriage to bring to life our 'Once Upon The Big Weekend' theme.

The programme is designed to give you a unique opportunity to gain new inspiration and skills in areas of design, movement, costume making, prop building and production.
