The Big Weekend Press Accreditation

If you wish to apply for a press/photographer pass to attend this year's The Big Weekend, please following the link below to complete the Press Accreditation application form.

Please ensure you submit everything we ask for, including a passport photo, as we are unable to accept your application if anything is missing.

We have a limited number of passes available. The passes allow general access to the event site for the purpose of reporting on the festival.

We welcome applications from local, regional and national media for print, online and broadcast.

Manchester Pride is a charity, we receive a high volume of applications each year and cannot allocate passes to every applicant. We will issue to those that will allow maximum exposure for the event and sadly we are unable to offer feedback if you have been unsuccessful.

You can apply for no more than two passes per media outlet.

Please note - if you are unsuccessful and still wish to attend the event, you can purchase a standard ticket, which allows the same access as a press pass, images from our official photographers will be available to download from our press galleries following the event.

Applications close Midday on Tuesday 01 August 2017. We are unable to accept applications after this time.

If you have any questions please contact the press team on 0161 806 0885 or email us at manchesterpride@downatthesocial.co.uk

If successful, passes will be available to collect on Friday 25 August 2017. Details for collection will be sent to you from Monday 14 August onwards.

If you want to attend The Manchester Pride Parade on Saturday 27 August you do not need a pass as it is outside of the main festival site, but we would love to know that you are here.  We can help with interviews and share content. We can also arrange interviews with acts who are performing at The Big Weekend if you get in touch and let us know what you need. We can’t guarantee that all requests will be met but we will do our best.
